Yusuke Asai "Gura-gura-no-iwa" 21th.Feb-29th.Mar.2009
graf media gm will proudly present “Gura-gura-no-iwa” by Yusuke Asai from February 21 (Sat) to March 29 (Sun). The artist Yusuke Asai is always in pursuit of expressing, at any given moment or place, his everlasting impulse to draw and paint. He continues to express himself to no end, by creating a uniquely playful yet mysterious universe that suddenly seems to pop up in the middle of our mundane landscape. In the previous year, Asai has actively presented his work in an international show in Indonesia, as well as various group shows in Japan, including the long-term residency project in Baika-cho, Osaka. We hope this exhibition will serve as a vehicle in presenting his unique production style at its best, along with archival work from the Baika-cho project.
